Our office at 2A Wilson Street, Newtown has been the hub of Wiseman Accountants since Michael Wiseman founded the firm in 2015. Every client who comes through our door has an experienced client manager who knows their business by name.
From Ipswich city to the outer suburbs, we work with established family businesses across construction and trades, professional services, real estate and more. Our advice stays genuinely independent: no financial products, no lending arm, nothing we recommend is shaped by anything we have to sell.

Do you provide financial or investment advice?
No. Wiseman Accountants does not hold an AFSL and does not provide financial product or investment advice. Our work is accounting, tax, structuring and SMSF administration. Where you need licensed financial advice, we can refer you to trusted advisers from our close professional network, or work alongside the adviser you already have, so everything stays aligned.
What size businesses do you work with?
We do our best work with established, family-owned businesses turning over $1M or more, usually with employees. Our clients value quality advice and a long-term relationship over the lowest-cost option.
How does pricing work?
You know what you’re paying before the work starts, with scope agreed upfront and no surprise bills. We compete on the value of the advice and the relationship, not on being the cheapest option.
Do we have to use Xero?
We run on Xero so both you and we are always working from current, accurate numbers. If you’re not on Xero yet, we can set it up and train your team as part of getting started.
Do you work with businesses outside Ipswich?
Yes. Our office is in Newtown, Ipswich, and we love meeting clients in person, but working on Xero means distance is never a barrier. We work closely with business owners across Springfield, Brisbane West, Toowoomba, Logan and well beyond.
